Well, I spent my evening in the emergency room. My mom texted me (yeah, you read that right - she TEXTED me) that she was at the emergency room because she couldn't breathe.
She is having a hard time dealing with the fact that many years of smoking has put her in bad shape even after the doctor put her on oxygen just yesterday.
In the meantime - today is day 47 for me. One day at a time. <:]

Dear Diary....
Been thinking about blogging again for awhile, figured no better time than the present.
Today we had one hell of a rain storm including flooding and hail. You can tell it doesn't happen around here very often because everyone and their grandmother talked about it or posted pictures on facebook. (Obviously only if their grandmother lives in the desert and has a facebook page that she can update herself)
Regardless, it will be on the news tomorrow "The great storm of 2010"
Don't get me wrong, it is really nice to have these kinds of storms. It is some of the few time during the "summer" that I actually don't mind living here.
